Barb, began her service with AmeriCorps, at Food Bank of Wyoming as the AmeriCorps/Food Security Ambassador.  Barbs first project was #HeartFull#TableFull, a wonderful unique February event designed to help children throughout Wyoming understand food insecurity. Children colored Hearty and friends while exploring hunger and how hunger affects everyone. This event went to several Counties in Wyoming and was well received, as this was the first year Hearty traveled to be colored in Wyoming.  Barb was awed by the pictures that came back.  Several Hearty pictures had statements written on them, “Save people from hunger, help others” and “Healthy Community, our community.” Barb is honored to be a part of stopping food insecurity in Wyoming.
